Sibelius Natural Products, an Oxford, UK-based nutraceutical supplier, announced that its branded ingredient, Sibelius: Sage, is now available in a milled format for an extended application profile.
“Consumer demands continue to trend towards improved cognitive health. Providing an additional format of Sibelius: Sage will help to better meet this demand and allow for additional innovative applications,” said Loukiana Chatzinasiou, senior product manager at Sibelius Natural Products. “The milled format will enable manufacturers to utilize the sage in the formulation of beverages and other relevant products, such as gels, gummies and yogurt drinks. This allows consumers to get their brain boost from a wide variety of finished products.”
Sibelius: Sage is a clinically-validated dried sage extract specifically developed to support memory, alertness, and cognitive health. A published study suggests that participants who used the product showed signs of significant cognitive performance improvements within one hour of consumption, in evaluations of secondary memory, accuracy, and speed of attention.
The newly introduced milled format of Sibelius Sage is delivered in smaller particles for increased dispersion. The ingredient is also available as a raw extract or formulated product.
Sibelius was founded out of Oxford University in late 2015. Its clinically-tested products and ingredients specialize in healthy aging support.
