Ecuadorian Rainforest, LLC, a wholesale ingredient supplier based in Clifton, NJ, has passed Quality Assurance International’s (QAI) rigorous inspection process, meeting guidelines to become a USDA-certified organic ingredient processor.
The company’s new facility has been certified to handle organic ingredients through QAI’s five-step process. This independent, third-party certification process included an on-site inspection of Ecuadorian Rainforest’s facilities to check that the company’s practices are uniform with accepted organic regulations.
QAI’s on-site inspection also examined other areas for compliance including product documentation, facility cleanliness, standard operating procedures and more, which the company passed.
“Our company is now positioned to offer even more ingredients than before,” said Steve Siegel, vice president of Ecuadorian Rainforest. “Passing the meticulous inspection process of QAI shows our commitment to provide our clients with exceptional, high-quality ingredients consumers are demanding.”
