Toto Phoutthavantha PhD MSc. CLS (ASCP), has joined Alkemist Labs, Garden Grove, CA, as laboratory director.
Dr.Phoutthavantha has over 14 years of experience in analytical laboratory testing in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries including clinical diagnostic testing. He spent 10 years as an executive laboratory director and consultant in CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) high complex laboratories with Biotech Industries Corporations.
He was a senior research scientist for over 10 years including time at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Battelle. His educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University where he also did a Post Doctoral Research Fellowship focusing on Genetic Medicine, Pharmacogenetics and Toxicology.
