Sabinsa–Sami Labs was honored with three separate Karnataka State Export Excellence Awards at a ceremony in Bengaluru, India Nov. 24. The awards were: Annual Incremental Growth in Export, Tumakuru District Category, and the Platinum Award for Exports.
Formed in 1992, Karnataka State Export Excellence Awards is an annual event recognizing the outstanding performance of potential and meritorious exporters across the state. The award also inspires other prospective exporters to venture into the international trade space, thereby fostering a spirit of healthy competition amongst the industries and exporters of the State to achieve greater export performance. On behalf of the Government of Karnataka, the Department of Industries & Commerce has been mandated to select and confer the Awards to the exporters demonstrating outstanding performance.
“We were pleased by this recognition for our achievements in exports,” said Shaheen Majeed, president, Sabinsa Worldwide. “We have offices all over the world, and have seen year over year growth in all regions because consumers everywhere want the health benefits of herbal products grown in India and backed by scientific research.”
