BatchMaster Software, Laguna Hills, CA, a leading provider of ERP solutions developed specifically for pharmaceutical manufacturers, revealed that Polysciences, Inc. has invested in BatchMaster ERP with SAP Business One to help scale up its GMP manufacturing operations. Polysciences manufactures monomers, polymers, microspheres and reagents for companies in the pharmaceutical, medical devices and diagnostic industries. Through the implementation of BatchMaster ERP, Polysciences plans to improve efficiency and increase compliance throughout their business operations.
Operating since 1961, Polysciences, Inc. had its beginnings in the development and manufacture of materials for electron microscopy sample preparation. “With the continual need for innovation in medical technology, our business is growing at a fast pace,” shared Tom Foster, director of supply chain and ERP transformation. “We’ve outgrown our current ERP as our company now demands increased functionality in all departments, transparency to data for decision making, and one centralized location for master data,” he continued. “After a comprehensive review of ERP vendors, we selected BatchMaster ERP because of its ideal fit for our industry, Private Cloud platform, and out of the box functionality. With BatchMaster ERP we will reduce paper processes, improve access to information, and increase compliance capabilities including system validation.”
“The next decade represents an exciting time as advancements in medical technology will not only improve the quality of life for many people, but also save lives where it previously may not have been possible,” commented Ryan Ott, executive vice president for Polysciences. “Our business intends to contribute to these advancements by being the partner of choice for leading firms and providing essential components for their innovative products.”
Andrew Ott, Polysciences’ vice president of shared services, said Polysciences is now positioned to take on larger scale commercial manufacturing for medical technology companies. “We’ve recently acquired new facilities to fulfill demand for our products and with the addition of BatchMaster ERP, our aggressive objectives for growth will be met.”
