Ms. Daoust worked for the company from 2004 to 2012 starting as senior account executive, then business industry manager and finally as sales director. Ms. Daoust will use her 30 years of experience in the food and nutritional industry to lead strategic planning efforts for FONA's Beverage Unit and foster growth for the company. She is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists and the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
Within FONA's Research & Innovation team, Chin-Ping Su has been promoted to senior research & innovation scientist. In his new role, Mr. Su will be leading research and development for microencapsulation technology and flavor delivery. A proven subject matter expert and certified food scientist, Mr. Su has shown a valuable capacity for new discoveries and teamwork.
FONA has hired Mike Deuschle as business development director for FONA's sales team. A 29-year veteran of the flavor industry, Mr. Deuschle brings a wealth of sales and business knowledge to the role. His diverse experience in territory building, market strategies and revenue growth will be invaluable to the new position. His responsibilities will include targeted sales development and international growth.
