Lesaffre Human Care has launched Lynside NUTRI ORGANIC, which recently obtained ORGANIC FR-BIO-1 certification from Ecocert.
Lynside NUTRI is a range of primary-grown inactive dried yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) known as ‘nutritional yeasts’ and manufactured in Western Europe. The company said these traditional superfoods are an excellent source of non-animal protein containing essential and non-essential amino acids, appropriate for vegan-friendly diets. They are also a reliable source of B vitamins, dietary fibers and minerals (K, P, Zn). With protein content close to 50% complemented by the B vitamin complex, Lynside NUTRI can be positioned for the elderly and athletes. It can also be used as a source of naturally-occurring vitamin B9 by pregnant women; while the presence of vitamins B2, B3 and B8 as well as zinc makes it a beneficial ingredient for nails, hair and skin care.
Lynside NUTRI ORGANIC is available to them in two different forms: flakes, which may be directly packaged in boxes, to be sprinkled on foods or to be used for cooking; and powder, which may be used alone or in combination with other ingredients for applications such as functional foods and dietary supplements (e.g.: capsules or tablets).
