Taking its first step into the dietary supplement market, Procter & Gamble (P&G), Cincinnati, OH, has acquired Brattleboro, VT-based New Chapter, Inc. Financial details were not disclosed.
According to a report from the Brattleboro Reformer, New Chapter will continue normal operations, becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of P&G.
Co-founder Paul Schulick will become executive vice president of science and innovation; Barbi Schulick will be vice president of organization and culture, the newspaper reported. Meanwhile, Kyle Garner, of P&G, will come on as new CEO.
