FDA investigators found the company's dietary pills and capsules contained synthetic steroids, the AP also said. Charges were filed in Idaho because Tribravus delivered its products to an Idaho retail company for wider distribution, the AP reported.
In September of 2010 the same company recalled its Reversitol dietary supplement, which was marketed “for promoting hormonal regulation,” after FDA informed the company that 6-Etioallochol-1,4-Diene-3,17-Dione (ATD) an aromatase inhibitor, does not qualify as a new dietary ingredient and cannot be sold under the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
