Jyoti Ceramic Industries is highlighting its Zirconox and Zircosil ceramic beads at the American Coatings Show. Zirconox is a rare earth stabilized Zirconia polycrystal ceramic. Zirconox high density 6.20 gm/cc, sapphire hard milling media is most cost effective for speedy dispersion and micro fine milling of high viscous hard and soft substances, with insignificant contamination from media wear. According to the company, Zirconox milling media lasts approximately 150-250 times longer than glass, 15-20 times than MgO stabilized Zirconia milling media and 20-30 times than Zirconium Silicate. Zirconox milling media are glossy satin smooth in surface finish and comparatively non-abrasive due to their low coefficient of friction.
Zircosil is Jyoti’s proprietary formulated Zircosium Silicate composite, specifically developed for medium density ceramic micro milling beads used for wet milling/dispersion of formulations. Zircosil beads are ideally suited for speedy dispersion/milling of hard and soft substances in high-low speed, horizontal and vertical type bead mills, basket mills, attritor, turbo and pearl mills.
