Zooca and Lehvoss UK Partner on Zooplankton Products for European Market

Zooca, a Norwegian company specializing in zooplankton-based products, andLehvoss Group, a distributor and marketer of nutraceutical ingredients for supplements and foods in Europe, have entered into an exclusive agreement to expand the distribution of Zooca’s Calanus oil-based products across Europe.
 
Zooca and Lehvoss’ nutrition division will work to utilize Lehvoss’ market knowledge, expertise, and distribution network to expand the footprint of Zooca’s sustainable zooplankton-based products.
 
Lehvoss UK, through its nutritional business unit, will add ready-made capsules and bulk oil formats of Zooca Calanus oil to its product portfolio. The unique oil contains a broad-spectrum lipid profile composed of 40 fatty acids (omega-3s, omega-7s, omega-11s), marine policosanols, and a high concentration of naturally-occurring astaxanthin.

Zooca’s Calanus oil has been researched and developed to support metabolic health and promote healthy aging, according to the company, and clinical trials support these health indications.
