Speakers Announced for Vitafoods Europe and Future of Nutrition Summit

Event organizers have published the slate of scientific experts lined up for May 8-10.

Speakers have been announced for two events taking place at this year’s Vitafoods Europe 2023, the global event for the nutraceutical, functional food and beverage, and dietary supplements industries in Geneva, Switzerland.
 
Attendees at the Future of Nutrition Summit on May 8 at the Marriott Hotel in Geneva will hear from experts at Unilever, Danone, Bayer Consumer Health, and innovative startup companies. At the Vitafoods Europe Conference on May 9-10 at the Palexpo Convention Center, visitors will hear from a range of experts in research, consumer insights, and notable companies such as Nestlé and Mintel.
 
The Future of Nutrition Summit
 
The summit on May 8 is designed to help business leaders capitalize on opportunities presented by emerging technologies and trends, and is taking place at Vitafoods Europe for the first time this year. The paid event will bring together a range of leaders from the C-suite in food science, innovation, sustainability, retail, nutrition, public health, and startup companies.
 
The list of speakers will include:
 
  • Agathe Danjou, Evolution and Disruption Strategy Director at Danone, on translating trends into actionable, long term business strategies
  • Evan Berk, Global Director of Nutritional Sciences and Innovation at Unilever, on the evolving science of personalised supplementation
  • Michelle Egger, Chief Executive Officer of pioneering biotech startup BIOMILQ, on developing novel technology to make human milk outside the body to feed future generations

Vitafood Europe Conference
 
The Vitafoods Europe Conference will return with a new format and location for 2023 on the main show floor. The exclusive, two-day paid event will focus on challenges and opportunities in nutraceuticals, as well as applications of the latest scientific research in trending health areas, such as sports and active nutrition, cognitive and emotional health, metabolic and immune health, life stages, and healthy aging.
 
Speakers leading the conference will include:
