Switzerland-based Nestlé’s NESQUIK brand has introduced Protein Plus, a new product line of protein-packed chocolate milk beverages. Protein Plus provides 23 grams of protein in each 14 oz. bottle. Available in chocolate and vanilla flavors, Nestlé said Protein Plus contains 28% less sugar than the leading protein-enhanced flavored milk. It is made with real milk from cows not treated with the added growth hormone rBST (although no significant difference has been shown between milk from rBST treated and non-rBST treated cows).
