Michael Wagner Joins MartinBauer as North America CEO

 MartinBauer, a Germany-based manufacturer of teas and botanical ingredients, has appointed Michael Wagner, PhD, as its new CEO in North America.
 
Wagner’s appointment is part of a leadership change in which Anne wedel-Klein was appointed as the nature network CEO, succeeding Albert Ferstl, who is entering a new phase of his life after working for and leading the company for 34 years. Anne, a fourth-generation member of MartinBauer, has been with the company for 13 years.
 
Wagner has held various roles of responsibility in the company over the past 10 years. He earned a PhD in Food Engineering at Cornell University, and is pursuing an MBA at William and Mary.
 
“Mentoring Mike into his new role and working alongside him on major projects has been one of the greatest rewards of my professional life, and I am very proud of the company’s choice,” said Ennio Ranaboldo, former CEO, and future board member of MartinBauer North America.
 
“I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to lead such an excellent organization. We have best in class products and a deeply committed team of people from the front office to the dock doors. I am excited to build no the powerful base that we have established over the past few years,” said Wagner.
