HP Ingredients Adds to Line of Standardized, Organic Extracts

Company’s offerings include organic blueberry, elderberry, raspberry, and beet root extract.

HP Ingredients has expanded its lineup of standardized botanical extracts certified organic by QAI.

Over the past several years, HP Ingredients has sought and received organic certifications through QAI for its premiere, science-based branded ingredients such as Bergamonte Organic Citrus Bergamia risso extract for cardiovascular health, ParActin Organic Andrographis paniculate extract for joint health, and MaquiCare Organic Maqui berry extract (standardized to 10% anthocyanins, 8% delphinidin).

HP Ingredients has continued the quest to broaden its standardized organic extract portfolio to also include popular extracts used in sports nutrition and men’s health such as rhodiola, tribulus, epimedium, ginseng, green tea, and nettle root. In addition to MaquiCare, the company now offers an expanded line of standardized organic superfruit extracts to include organic blueberry extract, elderberry, raspberry, and beet root extract. Other organic standardized extracts include curcumin, echinacea, grape seed extract, and chaga, among others.

Annie Eng, CEO of HP Ingredients, noted that these additional organic offerings allow for brand marketers that are certified organic to use its vast array of branded, clinically backed botanical ingredients and make the organic statement on principal display panels. Also, she said, “our standardized organic extracts allow us to work closely with B Corps, which not only have very high standards, but also are looking for ways to satisfy their increasing customer base that is seeking organic products. HP Ingredients is committed to strengthening the overall quality of our ingredients and showcases our commitment to providing healthy, clean, and sustainable ingredients.”
