Catalent Pharma Solutions, Inc., Somerset, NJ, has appointed Rao Tatapudy, RPh, PhD, as vice president of scientific affairs, Innovation & Growth. Dr. Tatapudy will be responsible for strategic programs in R&D and technology platforms with a focus on innovation and growth of current technology platforms and advances in bioavailability enhancement, taste masking, modified release and particle engineering. He previously worked at Pfizer, where he was new product leader and director of new product and process development with responsibility in global manufacturing services.
