Blackmores Launches Products Featuring Nutriventia’s TurmXTRA

The turmeric extract is clinically supported to work at dosages of 250 mg daily.

Nutriventia Limited announced that Australian supplement brand Blackmores has launched a range of products featuring its water-dispersible turmeric extract, TurmXTRA.

The ingredient is clinically-evidenced to support joint and muscle health at a daily dose of 250 mg. According to the company, the ingredient’s acceptance into a range of Blackmores’ products helps to demonstrate the credibility and effectiveness of the ingredient, as well as its potential to deliver tangible health benefits.

“TurmXTRA’s inclusion in Blackmores’ products validates our philosophy of delivering high-quality, clinically proven ingredients to our customers, especially a brand with high standards for excellence such as Blackmores,” said Vishal Shah, co-founder and executive director of Nutriventia.

“The acceptance of TurmXTRA by Blackmores is a clear validation of its efficacy and safety profile,” said Kazim Vakil, director of VILCO PTY, Nutrvientia’s exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand. “We are proud to offer our customers a genuine low-dose turmeric extract with proven clinical benefits, setting a new standard in the industry.”

Nutriventia and VILCO recently showcased their partnership at CMA (Complementary Medicines Australia), during the Science of Self Care Innovation Day on May 7. TurmXTRA and Nutriventia’s Ashwanova ashwagandha extract were key sponsors of the event.

At the event, Nutriventia launched Ashwanova exclusively in Australia and New Zealand, while also showcasing their other ashwagandha extract Prolanza which is available in all other regions. The long-lasting ashwagandha extract is formulated to support all-day stress relief.

Nutriventia also showcased recent research demonstrating that TurmXTRA, at 250 mg, had bioequivalent absorption rates in comparison to a leading branded turmeric extract with piperine consumed in three 500 mg doses. The finding is in line with previous studies which found significant benefits in healthy human subjects at a once-daily dosage of 250 mg.
