BGG World has appointed Shaheen Majeed as CEO of its three key subsidiaries, as of January 1 this year when he assumed the role. He will fill in for Bob Cappelli, current CEO of BGG Americas and Algae Health Sciences, upon his retirement on March 1.
 
Majeed previously spent years building the business of ingredient supplier Sabinsa and has spent the past four years as the company’s worldwide president, following roles in sales, supply chain, and global marketing.

BGG World’s three key subsidiaries include HB Natural Ingredients U.S.A., which focuses on the production and distributions of sweeteners including stevia and licorice-based ingredients; BGG Americas, which distributes the full line of BGG’s ingredients in North America; and Algae Health Sciences, which is responsible for the distribution of BGG’s algae-based supplement ingredients worldwide, including AstaZine Natural Astaxanthin.
