Algalif to Introduce Natural Astaxanthin from Iceland

Algalif, a microalgae ingredient supplier headquartered in Iceland will introduce Astalíf Astaxanthin, a potent natural antioxidant for nutraceuticals that is sourced from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae, at Vitafoods Europe Booth B52.
 
Astalíf is manufactured to rigorous quality and sustainability standards in a state-of-the-art, cGMP-compliant, indoor facility in Iceland. This premium form of astaxanthin is a valuable ingredient for nutraceuticals with applications in brain health, eye health, healthy aging, cardiovascular health, muscle endurance/recovery, and skin health. Astalíf is available in 5% and 10% astaxanthin oleoresin, suitable for softgel capsules and topical oil-based cosmetics; and 5% astaxanthin biomass, suitable for tablets and soft/hard gel capsules. New powder, beadlet, and water-soluble options are under development.
