Boulder Brands, a global health-and-wellness company, based in Colorado, has appointed its new vice president general manager, sales natural and specialty, Jason Berry. Mr. Berry comes to Boulder Brands from Clif Bar, where he spent 10 years building a strong sales operation.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jason Berry to the Boulder Brands team,” TJ McIntyre, executive vice president, natural brands commented. “Jason’s extensive sales experience across multiple channels will be a tremendous asset to our organization, especially in insuring that we maintain a leadership position in the Natural Foods industry, the foundation of our Natural brands portfolio.”
Mr. Berry will replace Rich Clark, the company’s former vice president general manager, sales natural and specialty. Mr. Clark managed natural sales for Boulder Brands since the Udi’s acquisition in 2012. Mr. Clark has moved on to pursue other opportunities in the Natural Foods industry.
During his time with Clif Bar Mr. Berry served many roles, including director of sales. His responsibilities included national account management for grocery and natural channels and management of national retail and broker operations. In his new role, he will lead the natural sales team and oversee customer, distributor and broker relationships in the natural channel.
