Proprietary Calcium Citrate Compound
Gadot Biochemical Ind. (GBI) has introduced a new patent-pending calcium citrate compound, branded Gadocal K, for soymilk and milk drinks. Adding Gadocal K to soymilk and other dairy alternatives causes no sedimentation or protein coagulation. Gadocal K can be added up to a level of at least 300 mg per serving (240ml or 8-oz.), which is approximately 30% of the RDA for calcium (the same amount as in cow milk). Gadocal K contains 15% elemental calcium and 6% elemental potassium, and is designed to maintain complete dispersion capability when added to solutions with a neutral pH.
