National Starch, Bridgewater, NJ, was presented with the 2003 Institute of Food Technologist’s (IFT) Industrial Achievement Award for Novelose® resistant starches at July’s IFT Food Show & Conference. This award was conceived to honor the developers of an outstanding food process or product, which represents a significant advancement in the application of food science and technology to food production and which has been successfully applied in actual commercial operation.
