The LaVergne,TN-based facility of A+ Secure Packaging has been awarded NSF International’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Registration for dietary supplements and athletic banned substances.
Earning GMP registration from NSF International verifies the A+ Secure Packaging facility meets or exceeds the safety and quality compliance requirements of its clients by demonstrating the proper methods, equipment, and controls for packaging, warehousing and distributing dietary supplement products and managing athletic banned substances.
“Quality has always been and will always be our top priority. Our customers depend on us to maintain the integrity of their brand—ensuring the quality of their products and safety of their customers are never compromised,” said Ronnie Smith, chief executive officer of A+ Secure Packaging. “Our NSF registration gives them the peace of mind that we stand up to that commitment.”
The 60,000 square foot facility, located just outside of Nashville, is temperature and humidity controlled and features the latest packaging equipment technologies.
While NSF GMP registration is not a requirement for contract packaging, A+ pursued the registration as part of its commitment to quality assurance.
