Job Summary:
To plan, coordinate and manage assigned client projects, maintaining communication lines between all personnel involved, both internally and external to the company to achieve a successful project outcome.
Essential Functions:
1. Work with sales team to generate proposals and associated pricing for prospective clients ensuring appropriate technical input obtained where necessary
2. Establish full project plans to include scope, timelines encompassing critical activities and communication planning, etc.
3. Communicate project plans for individual projects and maintain for project duration
4. Identify and communicate out-of-scope activities in appropriate format
5. Monitor and report progress of individual projects to clients and the project team
6. Provide timely updates as issues arise or projects change
7. Maintain client contact
8. Facilitate and lead project calls and meetings throughout the contract, issuing minutes and following up on actions discussed.
9. Order materials in conjunction with project team
10. Provide financial information for projects to facilitate sales forecasting and invoicing
11. Ensure any supporting items provided by external suppliers or vendors are managed
12. Attend training to further develop the knowledge and skills
Other Duties:
1. Identify and coordinate resource needs across multiple projects
2. Provide continuous improvement feedback to site management upon completion of project.
3. Develop and implement metrics where appropriate.
Position is responsible for independent prioritization of assigned tasks with weekly meetings with supervisor. Reports directly to the Licaps Plant Manager.
Required Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate to all levels of management effectively.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Direct knowledge of FDA regulations and the phases of drug development
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs to include: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
Must be able to effectively work in a team environment
Ability to travel up to domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time.
Desired:
5 to 10 years experience in a pharmaceutical environment supporting GMP operations.
Required Education:
B.S. degree in Chemistry or a Science related field
