• Meet or exceed sales goals in assigned territory to new and existing customers
• Ensure revenue growth through consultative selling and project management
• First line of customer contact for technical support
• Facilitate development of new products by qualifying customer needs
• Customer liaison for other organizational functional groups
Specifications include:
• BS in Chemistry, Chemical/Bio Engineering, or similar field preferred
• 5 or more years direct sales experience to major chemical industry accounts required; West Coast region preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills (a record of presenting information to scientists)
• Skill in consultative and multi-function selling
• Ability to work as part of a team of scientists, sales personnel and support staff to develop and expand the Jost Chemical market
• Domestic travel required
